DB upgrade on Siebel 16.0

Hi everybody,

my client has a Siebel 16.0 installation on Oracle Database 11.2.0.3.0. The DB version 11g will stop being supported at the end of the 2020, so my client wants to upgrade the DB to the supported version 12.2.0.1.0.

In order to let the Siebel works I guess I need to do the following tasks:

1. Update the tnsnames.ora file with the new host/port.

2. Copy the Siebel schema from the previous db instance to the new DB instance.

Are there other steps I am not considering?
