import supplier from external application - Supplier Hub

Hello,

Wanted to hear feedback to import supplier record from external system with supplier hub license.  Our process is external system send data to client middleware and send info to staging table then interface to Oracle interface table and move to base table.

During this process, from interface table to base table do we need to use supplier import program or separate program for supplier Hub?  If so will it utilize hub import functionality?
