Oracle Property Manager Lease - How to Amend Payment Term Frequency

Dear all,

We have a customer that user the oracle ebs property management module to handle the IFRS16 requirements. In the lease documentation it is mentioned that you cannot change the frequency of a payment term by an amendment or by editing the lease. So I am wondering which is the right way to handle the situation where the user has wrongly inserted a payment term as one time payment but it was an annually one.

I have thought to terminate the payment term at the start date or make an exact different payment term and then create the right one. But I am not sure which approach is the best one.
