Risks of adding a SAN from a 2nd storage vendor into an existing production environment?

RAC 4 node cluster
Oracle 11.2.0.3
Grid Infr 12.2
OE Linux 6
Nimble AF5000
Pure

Our DCO team recently purchased a Pure SAN to replace an older device from another vendor (Nimble). We had expected 2 Pure devices, which would allow us to have a Pure only storage environment. As it stands, this is not the case and we may be put in the position of having devices from different vendors for all of our ASM storage. While both devices are all flash, I am trying to understand what risk will be introduced and what critical best practices are not being by followed by having heterogeneous storage employing iscsi and multipath for normal redundancy diskgroups.

Howdy, Stranger!
