Is it okay to restore W2K8 11204 Oracle DB backup into W2K16 Server 11204 Oracle DB

I have a history server that we need to end of life W2K8 OS, but we need to keep the 11204 oracle Db for more several years as history DB. Can i restore a W2K8 11204 Oracle DB backup into W2K16 Server 11204 Oracle DB.

This will just be a history server as a reference only for historical data, and no production/transaction is going to happen on this server.
