Unable connect from client 8 (Forms 6i) to oracle 12c R2

Hi there.

I am trying to connect from my old application (Foms 6i) to Oracle 12c R2 database but I can't. But I can connect Oracle 11g Database from client. what would be the reason behind this. Please share with me if there any solution.
