Redo Log Members with Blocksize 1024k on The Primary Database and 512B on standby

Hello,

We have an ADG configarion, on the Primary we have recently moved the redo log members from NAS to SAN storage.

We have a request to re-create the Redo Log Members with Blocksize 1024k on The Primary Database.

The Filesystem holding the redo logs has bsize=1024

The Standby database redo logs are on NFS storage and we fail to identify the bsize for the Filesystem.

We want to know if we recreate the Primary Redo Logs with blocksize 1024k and leave the Standby Redo Logs with 512B, will this have any impact on the Standby?

Will performance be impacted, what issues can we face?

Howdy, Stranger!
