In Xstore 17.0.3 ,changes done in log4j2.xml file (custom overlay) are not reflecting after installa

Hi ,

Please assist, I took log4j2.xml file from '\release\xstore\xstore\config', modified it (added new logger) and place it under custom project  '<3 letters customer code>_pos/config' but after installing build  I don't see my changes added in log4j2.xml.
