Coverage End row not showing up when event is processed.

I have setup "Coverage End" to be "On the Event Date" and "Grace Period Months" as "29" at event rule setup. When i process (finalize and close) the event, i do not see a future dated election termination row inserted in "Disability plan" table. Am i missing something? Should the future dated termination row not get added when the event is processed? Or will the election termination get added after 29 months as set on event rule? Please advice.
