Import email list into Strategic Sourcing event invitation list

We have events where we have 100+ adhoc email addresses we need to a Strategic Sourcing event.  I see there has already been an Idea Request submitted, but I'm wondering if anyone has customization in place that they are willing to share the details about.  We are going to have to put in a customization and it would be nice to know what others have done and is working for them.
