Deleting old OMS after upgrade problem

I have several questions and will try to keep them simple.  After an upgrade to 13.4 RU4, would like to delete the 13.3 old directories in red below.  Deleting the old middleware directory is documented, but I didn't find any instructions for deleting the old gc_inst directory.  Both have been confirmed as not having any open files with lsof +D.
