'HR:Cross Business Group' for 'position based hierarchy'

in Procurement - EBS (MOSC) Question

Dear All,

We are using 'position based hierarchy' for PO approvals. Top approver in hierarchy is in multiple BGs (FRANCE, SWITZERLAND and SPAIN). While forwarding any PO to him, error message is coming as 'APP-PO-14180: The Forward-to person is not an on-line user.'

I have changed profile 'HR:Cross Business Group' to YES at site level (it is already set as YES at user level). Eventhough error message is coming (while forwarding any PO to that user).

We cannot change 'person' (in System Administrator --> User) for this user, as this will adversely impact process for other BGs.

What can be solution in this case? I have checked that, profile 'HR:Cross Business Group' is only useful for 'supervisor' hierarchy. Is it? What is alternative for this in 'position based hierarchy'?
