Oracle grid infrastructure upgrade to 19c

Hi,

We're thinking to upgrade our rac cluster(Two Node RAC) from 12.1.0.2(grid) to 19c (19.3.0) latest patch set grid on Oracle Linux Server 7.6

Is it better to perform a new installation of grid software and deinstall the older one or Upgrade the existing software to 19c version.

Please provide any documents relevant to it.
