[[getStartYear("ScenarioName")]] Cant get this to work..

According to  this page in the 11.1.2.4 docs, I should be able to create a calc manager script that only fixes on the years as set by the scenario start / end parameters.

I cant get this to work.. Anyone manage it?

I'm on 11.1.2.4 On Premise latest calcmanager (11.1.2.4.014)  / planning (11.1.2.4.010) patches.

eg    FIX([[getStartYear("Actual")]]   )

Should return a YEAR but Calcmanager is not replacing it with a value, so it then fails in essbase. Any ideas anyone ?
