CIFS error: kernel: CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -512

Hi, I am getting the below error related with a CIFS share, my operating system is Oracle Linux and I am not able to mount them:

kernel: CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -512               <--- This is the error from /var/log/messages

[root@xxxxxxxx ~]# smbclient -L //xxxxxxx.xxxxx.com -U CIFS

protocol negotiation failed: NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT                    <--- Error

Have anyone experienced this? Any hint ? Ports 445 and 139 are open bi-directionally
