Using Scan By Location tile, does "Force Asset Location Update" option also update the Area ID?

Hi:

We are considering using AM Mobile Physical Inventory. When using the Scan By Location tile, there's an option to "Force Asset Location Update" in case an asset's location differs from the scan location. Per documentation, when set to "yes", the system inserts an effective dated location record into the ASSET_LOCATION table. I would assume it also updates the Area ID along with the Location. Does anyone know if this is so?
