EAM,GIS,PROJECTS AND FA Integration

Need to understand the integration  process of EAM

1.Creating Purchase order (Purchase Module)

2.Interface to Projects(Project Module)

3.Create FA (Fixed Asset Module)

4.Create EAM Asset Number (EAM Module)

Now we are interfacing the EAM Asset's From GIS ,when ever the asset created with installed status in GIS  it will create EAM asset number in EAM and GIS asset status will changed To Active

But GIS People are only getting some invoice from finance and creating the GIS assets manually ,Is it a correct process ,In your experience any interface been developed to auto create asset number in GIS
