Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Can We automatically Create a Extended Warranty Service agreement with UOM=EA for a Service Item ord

Hello,

We have a requirement to automatically Create a Extended Warranty Service agreement with UOM= "EA" through Order Management.

We have done following setups:

1.We have defined a service item with UOM =EA in Inventory and attached extended warranty coverage template in services tab.

2. Entered sales order line =1 for finished good in Sales order form .

3.Entered sales order line =2 for Service item (created above) in Sales order form .. UOM = EA got defaulted .

4. Entered only duration in services tab and UOM=EA got defaulted in Service Period field

5. Tried to save the record . It has thrown the error “Cannot get valid name for - SERVICE_PERIOD”
