JD Edwards Web Client Certifications - Is JRE a requirement?

Is JRE a requirement for Web Clients on JDE 9.2.x versions?

I have found no specific reference to JRE as a requirement for Web Clients but found a “Java permissions should be set to medium or lower” statement on the Internet Explorer section of this Doc ID 2059836.1.

If that is a requirement, where can I find references related to its certification?
