Status of old 'V' posted batches changes to 'In Use' in 9.1- Any specific Reason for the same?

Hi,

Status of old 'V' posted batches changes to 'In Use' in JDE E1 9.1-  Any specific Reason for the same?  Users did not access the batch? Is there a fix available?
