How to enable tracing on the database level

Hi all,

We are currently running on two node rac with 19.7 database and cluster  . Our users are facing some issue on one of the databases ,  they are having some DB error from the application . Error  number  is not displayed , it just says DB error connecting .

How can I enable the trace on the database to see what the user is doing and why he is getting disconnected.  It's happens intermittently for all the users

Any thought how to figure this out .
