In our DB we have log buffer set to 256MB. I just wanted to ask, on every commit, of 1/3rd full etc.

In our DB we have log buffer set to 256MB. I just wanted to ask, on every commit, of 1/3rd full etc. Complete 256MB will be written to Online Redo Log Files or it will just write session specific modified blocks from Log Buffer to Online Redo Log Files? Please confirm.
