Hand scanner -closing screen in R12

in Inventory Items (APC/PLM/PIM) - EBS (MOSC) Question

Good  Evening !!!

We are using R12.1.3   Inventory module.

In our  store- they are receiving item with serial number. when we scan the serial number, automatically the form closing. But we need the cursor should be on the same  field ( column)

how to get this....Thanks
