We have a few set of queries for which we need your support.

1. What is the difference between Group asset & Parent Asset. Which is advisable for componisation of assets?

2. Does the Group Asset Depreciation policy override the depreciation policy of the member assets added to the Group Assets. In practical scenario, if we assign different categories of member assets which have different useful lives to Group Assets, is there a way to calculate depreciation based on the useful life of the member asset and not based on the depreciation policy of Group Assets. We currently see that Group asset depreciation policy override that of the member assets.
