Why is Applicants advanced search not returning any results?

Advanced or keyword search does not work for our Recruiters.

  • Recruiters are assigned either the Recruiting Administrator role or the Recruiter role.
  • They have access to the applicants data and the job openings.
  • HRS_APP_INDEX is deployed successfully - Elastic Search

Search Framework - Search definition - Search Test page returns results for just one user and the search applicants returns rows for the same user.  It does not work for anyone else. 

PeopleTools > Search Framework > Utilities > Search Test Page

We have tried cloning the profile, creating a new profile and adding all roles that the one user has and  running security refresh jobs, but no luck.
