Suggestion needed if API can be invoked in Xstore registers to log PROD issues

I would need your suggestion in one of the requirement which we got from one of our client. In real world, if any production issues are encountered in Xstore during business hours, store person (L2) will raise a ticket stating the issue via a separate ticketing tool and send to the vendor. Now this customer wants to know if we can invoke an API in Xstore register, where if an issue is noticed, by click of a button in register, the API should be invoked and details of the error snapshot and logs can be uploaded and sent to
