TNS-00543 Error when trying to connect using SSL

Hi all,

Having configured my database for SSL, I am getting a TNS-00543 error in my SQLNet trace log. I can't seem to find much information about this online, so here to see if anyone can help.

  • My database has a TCPS listener, with server wallet
  • I am trying to connect to that from a Centos7 machine with Instant Client 19.8.
  • My client SQLNet configuration has been configured including referencing a client wallet containing an SSL Certificate.
  • I can successfully connect over a regular non-TCP connection
  • I have successfully tested this same wallet and TCPS connection from a Windows client - also using Instant Client, with identical SQLNet.ora configuration.
