Purge Low Variability Advance in AIP

Hi,

How exactly purge low variability advance is working. I can see from the guide that on which all the measures this script is working on. But i don't understand what is this specialized encoding being referred in the documentation and how and which values are getting adjusted as part of running this base AIP script
