High CPU load when calls are breaching license limit

Hello,

on:

clientSBC# show version

Acme Packet 3820 ECZ7.3.0 MR-2 Patch 19 (WS Build 424)

Oracle Linux branches-6/el6-u9 {2018-02-12T07:00:00+0000}

Build Date=01/17/19

Build View=/home/acme/ccn/COSTANZANEWGA_WS_integration

User=WSbuilder@goose

we have a max-session limit of 3400. Every Monday there is an avalanche of calls through this SBC ( CoVID-19 numer goes through) and they get rejected with 503. Nevertheless, our cpu-load goes to 97-98% and we have an alarm, not to speak about quality of calls that are established. Is there a way to avoid this cpu overload in this situation?
