Custom Application- Custom Dashboard Linking to custom responsbility

We are trying to create a custom application in ECC Developer. We created custom dashboard and loaded the data in custom data sets. We are able to view this custom dashboard  data in ECC Developer. It works fine.

However, we want to assign this dashboard to custom responsibility. As per install guide,  Doc ID 2495053.1   and in Section 8: Providing Users Access to Enterprise Command Centers, we see the instructions to assign each seeded dashboard to seeded responsibility or custom responsibility. But, there are no instructions to link the custom dashboard to custom menu in ECC.

QUESTIONS:

1) Which Role we need to use for permission Grant in this case?
