Is there any way to show the latest BOM on a booked order?

Hi Team,

Wanted to check with everyone to see if there is any way or which one is triggering to show the latest BOM on the order.

PTO MODEL

    OC1

•         O1
•         O2

    OC2

•        O3
•        O4

Included Item1

Included Item 2

These included items are basically a guide books or some pamphlet. There was a out off stock on  Included Item 2 and we have to replace with Included Item 3. When we place a new order, sales order is showing the included item 3 where there is no issues. But we have thousands of orders in backorder with Included item 2.

Need your help here on how to make the backorders to show the included item 3? which field is triggering in OM can be changed to show the latest BOM on order. Can some one help and give me more details please.
