in Enterprise Command Center Framework - EBS (MOSC) Question

I have a client who would like to extend ECC EAM by adding a flexfield attribute to the eam-asset dataset. The client is currently on ECC version 3. I have researched this back in March 2020 and did have discussions with Oracle Support on this topic when working another SR and they mentioned that this capability would be available in version 4. I have reviewed the version 4 documents and did not see any new additions in the Extending ECC document regarding adding flexfields other than the "Dynamic Attributes" which I do not think works for EAM due to the
