How to confirm if the Pick-Release successfully for wsh_deliveries_pub or wsh_picking_batches_pub AP

Hi ALL,

     I would like to do pick-release operation via standard API,as i known there are 2 following APIs can achieve.but now i encounter a question.

     After ran the API to do pick-release operation, the API will return successful and submit 'Pick Selection List Generation' and 'OE_ORDER_HOLDS_ALL (Check Event Alert)' request, but actually, due to "customer credit issues",  the sales order line will be stuck.if release the Hold and then ran the API again,it works fine.

     Hence, How to ensure that the pick-release operation is really successful?
