ZFS dataset compression

Hello,

Recently I found in one of our ZFS appliance ZS5-2 the data compression is not happening even though it shown compression - 1.34x with data compression set to LZJB and database record size 1M. Does anyone have this issue with OS8.8.24   

The share is created mainly to store RMAN backups and I'm not compressing backups using RMAN utility. 

In another ZFS appliance i do see compression 2.51x with same properties and i see compression on RMAN backup files as well.

Only difference is the appliance where i'm seeing compression is ZS3-2 with 2013.06.05.4.11 software updates in it.

let me know if anyone have similar behavior.
