Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Can Solaris 9 (any update) support Java 8 ?

One of my projects is build on solaris 9, and we are looking to have Jenkins support automated software builds.

Jenkins requires jdk8 for its slaves.

Not sure how much of a science project this may be, or if it is even possible.
