OEM agent central inventory ownership

My question is this:

We have an OEM agent running on all our Oracle servers, always as their own user so that that user is different from the user running the Oracle processes in question for which the serves is meant.

On database servers however, when we opatch our databases, we find a lock file in the Central Inventory to be owned by the user running the OEM Agent.

This agent runs these kind of processes:

agent 120839      1  0 Jun26 ?        01:09:48 /oracle/soft/GI12102/bin/scriptagent.bin

agent 121165      1  0 Jun26 ?        00:01:37 /agent_home/virtualagent/GoldImage_agent_13.3.0.0.3/agent_13.3.0.0.0/perl/bin/perl /agent_home/virtualagent/GoldImage_agent_13.3.0.0.3/agent_13.3.0.0.0/bin/emwd.pl agent

Howdy, Stranger!
