rapid clone after change to 19c multitenant

EBS 12.1.3 on premise with db and app tier on separate servers (RH Linux).

I have followed "Interoperability Notes: Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 with Oracle Database 19c (Doc ID 2580629.1)" and now have a 19c CDB/PDB configuration.

My question now is once I upgrade production how does this affect the rapid cloning process?

My usual process is clone the database via rman along with a few others steps and the app tier is done via rsync etc.

Now I have a CDB and a PDB and I need to rename both of them or am I creating a CDB on my cloned server and plugging in the PDB?
