Grid not sorting in P4141

In the P1441 Cycle Count Entry screen I have a grid format that is supposed to sort the grid by Cycle Number, Branch/Plant, Unformatted Location and Second Item Number but the grid is not sorting like that, the Items numbers are not sorted, see below screenshots of grid and sort order, if I export to excel and sort they sort correctly.  Please advise if it is possible to sort the grid this way or if I am missing something.
