Siebel IP 19.9 changes for MS SQL server upgrade from 2014 to 2016

Hi,

We have Siebel IP19.9(Windows 2016 64-bit) with database MS SQL Server 2014.

We are planning to upgrade both Siebel & database.

1. Database upgrade from MS SQL server 2014 to MS SQL Server 2016.

2. Siebel Upgrade from IP19.9 to IP 20.8

From Siebel stand point i have few questions.

Q1) After Database is upgraded from MS SQL Server 2016 (from 2014), what are the steps to be followed in Siebel IP19.9?

Q2) How do i move Siebel IP19.9 repository objects to IP 20.8. Do i need to run Upgrep & Upphys or only run the IP 20.8 patch? Will IP 20.8 patch will do the repository object of MS SQL Server 2014 to MS SQL Server 2016? Thanks Prem
