Configuration of shared file system for high availability on MS Azure Cloud Servers

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade EPM HFM 11.1.2.4.x on-premise version to EPM HFM 11.2.x

I am seeking suggestion to use best Microsoft technology solution for shared file system for high availability  on Azure Cloud servers.

We would like to keep the following folders/ file in shared file system over the network.

  • Oracle HTTP Server configuration files to simplify configuration in a distributed environment
  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition application data
  • RA folders

in past we used the SOFS [ Scale out File Server] technology to host shared files but this was not successful deployment due lot of file shared cluster disk disconnection issue reported during peak / high loads of activity concurrently.
