Can we change job code on position during manager self service transactions?

We are looking to roll-out Manager Self Service later this year and came upon an issue in testing.   In our business process we will often Promote or Transfer an employee to a new job code, but keep the position number the same.   We do that by changing the job code on the position and the position change automatically creates a job data row with the job number change.   When we have been testing the Promote or Transfer employee transactions, there is no fields to change the job code, only the position number.   Is it possible to add "Job Code" as
