Basic/Advanced Preference to Default Ship To?

Hello Community,

Is anyone aware of a Basic/Advanced Preference that would default a ship to based on item cat codes? My client has a business requirement where there are two plants (different physical address) under 1 branch plant. These plants buy items from other branches / generate orders from MRP. They want to be able to have the ST side of the transfer order to default the ship to (1 plant or the other based on item). At first I thought inventory commitment preferences, but that would only be helpful if they were utilizing different MCUs.
