Why is AHF creating opatch_history.txt in old GI location

We upgraded GI from 12..x to 18 and we would like to rmove old GI HOME to release space. We recognised the even OLD GI_HOME is detached from oraInventory AHF(TFA) is still writing to the old location.

How can we stop this
