Oracle DB 12.1.0.2

Solaris 11.4

RAM 84 each node (2 nodes)

Hello Team,

On the second node of our RAC environment, there was 10g free swap space out of 128 G swap space.

VM was not responsive. Hopefully first node was operational and reports were running fine.

RAC memory

As per OS log shown below, swap space has been exhasted. VM was restarted.

What can be done to prevent this issue? Memory is being consumed at a faster pace. Is there some OS setting? SHould I increase the memory on VM and by how much?
