what is generating files under /tmp names starting with SHMDPESLD_SID_GUID?

All my 12.2 EE DB's report file generation under /tmp, names with a format of .SHMDPESLD_SID_GUID.

none of my 19c or 12.1 DB's have these.  Anyone know what is generating these?  the only doc i could find was Doc ID 14571027.8

that doc refers to NCOMP native pl/sql compilation.  The only PL/SQL code used in our DB environments, is used for DB purposes and only runs on the weekends.  These files are generated throughout the week.

ie.

-rwx------   1 oracle   oinstall    5.5K Sep 23 06:17 .SHMDPESLD_XXXXX_3b00007b_00000004e618cd40

-rwx------   1 oracle   oinstall     26K Sep 23 06:17 .SHMDPESLD_XXXXX_3b00007b_00000004e8d0c600

Howdy, Stranger!
