Step by Step Guide to Configure Workflow Notification Mailer

thanks for the document provided.

It is very useful to have a document with screen shots.
I will reference this document for the future Community Questions.

But, if you allow me , there are some suggestions that you may or not , consider to implement.

1. Please sanitize your document and remove the instance name and the email address - You may receive SPAM at the Mailer account and the Inbound processing will be affected.

2. page 9 - Here settings for Inbound Protocol are available For Example : you want to configure POP3 or IMAP.

-> please note the IMAP is the only protocol supported for Inbound Processing

3. page 10 - Preferred is to have From address & Reply to address as same to avoid any confusions and further problems.

-> From field is not mandatory to be an email address . You can set this to i.e. - PROD MAILER

4. page 11- Step 6 Provides advance setting to process incoming notification response

-> Here an user can define TAGs in order for the Mailer to automatically Discard emails that met certain Patterns.

I have modified the document but unfortunately "Upload New Version" of the document functionality is not working. I am not sure what is the issue with it.

I am trying since last 1 hour, but still not able to upload document as new version. do you have any idea?

Hi,
I have no idea if Oracle Community Supports versioning .
I think the best would be to ask this in Community Suggestions or Using My Oracle Support Area

Asif,
It appears that your Doc on Workflow Mailer is best suited for our "E-Business" Category. And in particular the "Workflow core" Community.
I would move it for you but that doesn't appear to be an option for me. I can only delete the Doc. Which is something I rather not do.
Can you move it over to that Community? If not. you may have to create a "new" Doc in that proper Community.
