How to clear Suggested_Buyer_ID field when copying old Requisition (iProcurement)

When a user copies old requisition from the system, old requisitions already has suggested_buyer_id assigned. So, the newly created requisition also carries the same suggested_buyer_id. This creates an issue, if the buyer is no longer with the company.

Is there a way we to clear suggested_buyer_id to null, when the user creates a requisition from old a requisitions?

This is applicable for R12 also,

An Enhancement Request ("ER") exists under the following Bug with Oracle Development/Product Management to request the functionality of not defaulting the buyer name when performing a requisition copy.:
