Important Notice for customers using Oracle Demantra version 12.2.6.1 and earlier with Java 6 or 7

Action is required for customers using Oracle Demantra versions 12.2.6.1 and earlier in combination with Java versions 6 or 7 on the client. No action is required for customers using Oracle Demantra versions 12.2.6.2 or later or for customers using Java version 8 on the client.

The October 2017 Critical Patch Update for Java SE 6 and 7, and related JRE (Java Runtime Environment) 6 and 7, will not include the deployment components required to launch Java Applets.  Users that upgrade to these versions will not be able to launch Java applets from web browsers. This change only impacts the client install of Java used to launch Java applets.  There is no impact to server applications.
