Government of India’s rollout of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) planned for July 2017

Goods and Service Tax (GST) is considered the largest indirect tax reform in India and will replace multiple indirect taxes that are administered by the Central and State Governments.

Implementation of India GST will be completed in phases described below. This will accelerate the delivery and will enable customers and partners early access.

•     Phase 1 — EBS GST infrastructure: Released in November 2016 for an early access for customer.
•     Phase 2 — EBS GST Model Law and Transition Capabilities: enhancements based on the draft India GST Model Law and functionality to support the transition from the current tax regime to GST. This phase is available for customers from March 2017.
