Supporting Oracle RAC with EMC XtremCache

Introduction

Following my recent EMC Everything Oracle Community blogs and articles on the availability and performance of EMC XtremCache for Oracle RAC, I wanted to share this article on Supporting Oracle RAC with EMC XtremCache. To put it more directly, while performing a DBA’s daily activities how does EMC XtremCache behave during planned maintenance or failure of software or hardware running on nodes in Oracle RAC?  And, to help DBAs be absolutely confident in not only the high performance achievable with EMC XtremCache, but also address those questions by describing how XtremCache behaves in normal Oracle RAC maintenance operations and unplanned situations, for example:
